In 2007, the Museo Alameda opened its doors with an ambitious mission: "to tell the story of the Latino experience in America through art, history, and culture." Over the past two years, our partnerships with renowned museums have garnered critical acclaim for the Museo. Today, we ask you to partner with us as we prepare for an exciting new series of exhibitions. In 2009, the Museo will focus on the American Dream. From exploring the lives of immigrant teens in Becoming American to celebrating the first ever retrospective of native San Antonio artist and veteran, Jesse Treviño, the Museo presents inspiring stories of challenge and triumph. Join us as we document the pursuit of this American Dream.
